The Waldport City Council is scheduled to meet at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 12th at Waldport City Hall to consider adopting the Waldport Transportation System Plan (TSP). An adoption draft of the TSP and Implementing Ordinances will be provided on the Project Documents page on or before Thursday, December 5th. There will be a brief presentation followed by deliberation among City Council members. The hearing is open to the public.

The Waldport Planning Commission is scheduled to meet at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11th at Waldport City Hall to consider recommending adoption of the Waldport Transportation System Plan (TSP). An adoption draft of the TSP and implementing ordinances are provided on the Project Documents page.There will be a brief presentation followed by deliberation among Planning Commission members. The hearing is open to the public.

Project Advisory Committee (PAC) Meeting #4 for the Waldport Transportation System Plan (TSP) update is scheduled to occur on Monday, October 7th at 1:00 p.m. at Waldport City Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to review and discuss the draft TSP update and implementing ordinances. The draft TSP and implementing ordinances are provided on the Project Documents page along with an agenda for the meeting. The meeting will include a presentation by the project consultants, discussion of the project materials, and a general discussion on transportation-related issues within the community. The meeting is open to the public and the agenda includes time at the end for public comments
Joint Planning Commission and City Council Work Session #1

The City of Waldport is planning to host a joint work session with the Waldport Planning Commission and City Council on Monday, August 26th at 2:00 p.m. at Waldport City Hall. The work session will include a brief presentation followed by a discussion on the preferred alternatives developed by the project team to address gaps and deficiencies in the transportation system. An agenda and presentation for the work session is provided under Project Documents. A draft version of Tech Memo 6, which identified the preferred alternatives is also available under Project Documents along with all prior memos. The meeting is open to the public and the agenda includes time at the end for public comments.

The tech memo along with an agenda for the meeting are provided on the Project Documents page. The meeting will include a presentation by the project consultants, discussion of the project materials, and a general discussion on transportation-related issues within the community. The meeting is open to the public and the agenda includes time at the end for public comments.
On-line Open House #3

Online Open House #3 for the Waldport Transportation System Plan (TSP) update is scheduled to kick-off on Monday, July 29th, 2019 and continue through Monday, August 12th, 2019. The online open house will provide citizens with the opportunity to comment on the preferred transportation system alternatives for improving each of the major travel modes within Waldport (walking, biking, taking transit, driving, etc.). It will also provide citizens with the ability to share their thoughts and concerns on transportation-related issues with City staff and the consultants.
Please visit the On-line Open House after July 29th, 2019 to participate in the online open house and help shape the transportation system for years to come.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide an orientation to the project, outline the plan and policy context for the project as summarized in Revised Tech Memo #1, consider the draft project goals, objectives, and evaluation criteria in Draft Tech Memo #2, and review the existing conditions in Draft Tech Memo #3. The meeting will include a presentation by the project consultants, discussion on the project materials, and a general discussion on transportation-related issues within the community. The meeting is open to the public and the agenda includes time at the end for public comments.

Online Open House #1 for the Waldport Transportation System Plan (TSP) update is scheduled to kick-off on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 and continue through Tuesday, February 12, 2019. The online open house will provide citizens with an introduction to the project and an overview of the planning process. It will also provide citizens with an understanding of the existing transportation system conditions associated with each of the major travel modes within Waldport (walking, biking, taking transit, driving, etc.). It will also provide citizens with the ability to share their thoughts and concerns on transportation-related issues with City staff and the consultants. An interactive map will be used to allow citizens to pinpoint locations of concern or interest within the City that should be addressed by the Waldport TSP Update.
